Ollie the Elephant baby rattle
Every year I have a new years resolution. Last year it was my painting exhibition and this year it is the big five in baby rattle. With Christmas I have got all kind of colors of Ricorumi yarn and the great thing is that I can crochet one rattle with 1 ball of yarn. This means many baby rattles could be crocheted in 2022.
The first animal of the Big Five that I have crocheted is the elephant with its floppy ears. A very cute baby rattle and not that difficult to crochet. It is a great pattern for starters!
Pattern:
Materials:
- Yarn Ricorumi DK: grey (25gram), white (5 gram) and a little piece of black for the eyes (2gram).
- Crochet needle 2,5mm
- Tapestry needle
- Wooden ring, diameter 70mm
- Stitch markers, you can also use a rest piece of yarn that you place in between the stitch.
- Stuffing for the body
- Rattle
